Back in October of 2020 I went to the dentist as usual. I had thought my teeth were doing fine now. I had had terrible teeth as a kid. I lived on sugar, soda, and ramen noodles and all manner of junk. I always DREADED the dentist because it always meant bad news and more cavities. My bottom two molars were already decaying when they came in when I was in second grade and I’ve had trouble with these two teeth for a long time and had them crowned in 2018

I got married in 2010 and started working at a health food store and ate only whole foods and quit my sugar addiction and low and behold no more cavities!
After having my first child I began having health issues and started looking deeper into diet and nutrition. I followed Weston Price, did Whole 30 Paleo, did AIP, followed Plant Paradox…. all of which helped little by little for me to heal.

I was feeling my best in 2018. No more arthritis or stomach aches or nerve pain, etc.. However, in early January of 2018, even though I had been eating a diet low in grains, high in veggies and fiber, etc. and thought I was the healthiest I’d ever been, low and behold I had SEVERAL cavities!?!? I was devastated. I felt exhausted because I was already doing all the things I knew to do as far as eating healthy, using bentonite clay to brush, etc. So I cried then let it go and had the last of them filled in January of 2019.
Now comes October 2020 and I go the dentist and they ask me how old I am (33) and how often I floss (EVERY DAY!) and how often I brush (EVERY DAY morning and night!) and then ask me if anyone has talked to me about periodontal disease (no).

Well, I was told I have early stage periodontal disease but not to worry about it because it wasn’t bad. They told me I needed flouride, which I refused because thyroid issued run in my family. They told me to use a special rinse to help with sensitivity (I had no sensitivity and told them I stay away from chemicals at all costs). They told me to use a special toothpaste for sensitive teeth which I also refused because of creepy ingredients and because I was having no sensitivity except when they used the tools on my front lower teeth.

They told me if it gets worse they can inject antibiotics into the gum pockets to fix it. NO WAY. I told them how I stay away from antibiotics unless 100% necessary because of how they affect the gut. “This only stays in your mouth” said the dentist. I know better than that.

I remembered YEARS ago using a Bass toothbrush and the tooth oil and enjoying it, though at the time I was not in a place financially to buy it a second time when I ran out and then had forgotten about it. I came home from the dentist that day and cried because they said there was no hope. But then I stopped crying and immediately came to orawellness website and ordered their kit for periodontal disease.

I did not change my diet hardly at all. I started brushing with first the oil blend and then the shine every single day for three months. Well, the shine ran out at Christmas and I started brushing with bentonite until I could order more. I used the applicator occasionally. I was not consistent with it, but did feel my mouth felt EXTRA clean in the morning when I did use it.

I had a dentist appointment late January 2021 and the lady said my reading were WAY better and to stop using the product I found because I was in the safe zone now. I was SHOCKED she would say to STOP using what worked. Crazy. I will NOT stop using these products. They are the ONLY thing I changed. I am so impressed. This stuff works! I recommend it to everyone! I even have my 8 year old and my 2 year old using it (well, the little one only the shine right now because the oil is too “hot” for her).

Thank you all for the work you do! I feel silly I did not come here once I found out I had cavities back in 2018 because I KNEW about you all! Instead of getting down on myself about it though, I just feel grateful to come and get resources here when i did! My mouth feels great! Thank you for standing up and being the “weirdos” in this world full of dental myths and broken healthcare systems that cover up symptoms at best! Like the many other people who have submitted testimonials, I am infinitely grateful that Orawellness exists.

I have found the company and its staff a big source of support over the years, particularly in dealing with my 10-year-old daughter’s oral health.

She has been susceptible to cavities despite a very healthy, varied, organic diet and careful oral hygiene from the beginning. (Her younger sister has never had any) I credit Orawellness with helping to turn around her dental problems.

In spring last year, a dental consultation resulted in us being told that she had 12 cavities, mostly in primary teeth but also, distressingly, in the four back molars. We have used Orawellness products on-and-off for years, and followed guidelines in ‘Cure Tooth Decay’, some quite strictly. However, we still struggled with her getting cavities.

This year, after a renewed effort with Orawellness products, in particular ‘Shine’ and homemade tooth powder made with the MCHA, a follow-up visit 7 months later (with another dentist) found she had (only) three, one of which the dentist was ok with ignoring because the tooth — a primary one — was close to falling out (which it did); the other two were minor and I in fact think that one of those — the one I can properly see — may be diminished or gone, as I can no longer see the black dot. We are due to go back to get the fillings shortly and will find out then.

There are several points to consider here — different dentists and what they see, as well as the fact that we also worked on other aspects of our daughter’s health, as we have always done, at the same time. For example, she received several holistic treatments; she had a good-quality cod-liver-oil supplement; and we used herbalism. Therefore, I cannot say with 100% conviction that Orawellness products have been the definitive answer to helping her oral health, but I am convinced they must be part of it, and I am so glad to have them.

I always felt reassured by the testimonials on this site throughout this stressful time; by posting our own story, I can hopefully provide some inspiration and insight to others while also giving credit to Orawellness for their work and dedication. I am so relieved that we have had their products and that we have finally turned a corner in my daughter’s oral health.

I haven’t been to the dentist in five years. During that time, I went through a lot of depression induced sugar cravings and eventually it started to take a toll on my teeth.

Despite using a really good remineralising toothpaste for a year and a half, I was still left with translucent teeth, two visible holes, thick plaque on my back teeth and numerous grey and brown spots, especially on molars.

I was devastated and desperately wanted to remineralise my teeth, but nothing seemed to work. I was still a student at a time and couldn’t afford multiple dental treatments, so I decided to give Orawellness a go.

I started using Shine once a day. After about a month, I noticed my teeth weren’t as sensitive to sugar. Convinced the powder was working, I purchased HealThy Mouth blend and started brushing my teeth with Shine and the blend twice a day, on top of the remineralising toothpaste. I also completely cut down my sugar intake including fruits and fruit teas, and would swish my mouth with water after eating acidic foods.

Only three weeks after making these changes, my gums are no longer fiery red and seem to be growing back (I had slight gum recession). My teeth feel stronger and the spots are lighter in colour and some of them disappeared on one of my molars! My teeth are also lighter in colour and slightly less translucent. I am still using an electric toothbrush and a regular one to apply Orawellness products, but I am planning to purchase a waterpick.

I will continue to use Shine and HealThy blend because they simply do what other brands can’t. I’m hoping for even better results in the future and will definitely write again if the condition of my teeth improves again. Thank you!

I found your products by searching for a non-fluoride tooth product since I have thyroid issues and wanted to see if this might help that balance. With overall good teeth and only yearly dental visits needed due to minimal tartar build up, I was confident it would work fine but it has exceeded my expectations!

Just a few months after starting the system, with confessedly less time spent with the irrigations than I should, I had my dentist visit. I had started drinking some chai tea mix and the hygienist and dentist noted 2 areas of thinning between molars with the hygienist SURE that I needed a filling. That prompted me to get serious and stop drinking something that I knew was not ideal for me nor my teeth and to reconcentrate my efforts with your system. At the next yearly visit, there was NO mention of any issue and upon asking, “nothing; it all looks good!”

Remineralization, it appears so! My mouth feels better and the rare time I use a paste with fluoride, my mouth just doesn’t feel as clean and those ‘sweaters’ come on the teeth far too quickly and the inside of my mouth does not ‘peel’ like it does with the fluoride.

I watched a documentary series on the mouth microbiome, and this Oral Wellness product was recommended. I was skeptical, because I was used to paste, not powder and oil drops.

But, I suffer from eroding gums, stained enamel and cavities. The whitening products on the market are irritating to my gums. So I took a chance, and Wow! What a difference! I love how the product whitens, the clean “slippery” film left on my teeth, and the knowledge that I am supporting the oral microbes that keep me healthy.

I also developed an aching tooth during the Pandemic, and amazingly after using the product a couple of times, the aching has diminished!

The procedure is actually very simple–dump a small amount of the “Shine” powder in your hand, shake 2 drops of the Healthy Mouth Blend oil on the powder, wet your toothbrush, and brush away!

The kit comes with a manual brush and floss, but I use my own electric brush and floss. The spaces between my teeth are tight, so I need to use a stronger string. I am so impressed with the product, I am purchasing a kit for my son. FYI hopefully you like the taste of cloves…
