I wanted to share that after following the first video of the Healthy Mouth System on how to brush teeth for gum health, my teeth felt so clean. And after a good night’s sleep my gums felt healthier, less inflamed 🥹. And this was only after the first time following your tooth brushing technique. I spent an hour and a half on my teeth…and made it into a mindfulness practice of honoring my teeth and my gums and offering deep deep gratitude.

5 stars! Been using it for a couple years now and do believe it has helped with my periodontal issues.

When I combine it with a Sulca brush along the gum line it helps to gently get the product under the gum line. That combined with a drop on your bamboo brush with my Shine, a drop in my pocket applicator, and a drop on my floss has certainly stopped the progression of my gum disease. I also use a waterpik with Himalayan sea salt and baking soda at night.

It takes a long time to heal a condition that has been going on for years that conventional dentists didn’t seem to notice. I had significant bone loss and lost a tooth because it was caught too late and I mistakenly went to a conventional periodontist who pooh-poohed my OraWellness solution. Fortunately, I found a holistic dentist who used ozone, no fluoride and encourages a healthy diet and lifestyle to heal from within. So, long story short, between OraWellness, my holistic dentist and my healthy diet and lifestyle, I have turned the corner on a decades long problem I didn’t know I had until about 4 years ago.

2 years of conventional “treatment” and no improvement – 2 years of OraWellness and significant improvement. Hmmmmm…….I would say that speaks for itself. I am currently 62 and have been having teeth and gum issues since my mid-thirties when I got dry mouth & eyes!

Before that time at a dental visit the dentist would always tell me what lovely teeth I had. Then suddenly the dentist asked me if I was drinking soda, or eating lemons because I had 13 cavities along the gum line. This happened for a few visits 9 cavities, then 7 – then I found Xylitol mints and that helped. But bad dental work over the years, too many crowns, leading to root canals, leading to dental implants and with my dry mouth never getting better lead to gum problems. I have used mouth rinses, the waterpik and oil pulling and still had gum issues.

At my visit last August I had one tooth with a 10 pocket in the gum. I got the virus in October and didn’t have the energy to do the waterpik and oil pulling. Then in November knowing I had an appointment coming up in February I got worried and went online to try to find something to help. The more you search the more they “feed” your FB with products for gum and teeth issues. Many of these products were crazy expensive. Some were just pills and I sure couldn’t see how taking one pill a day was going to do anything to fix the problem.

I came across the OraWellness products and watched their videos and explored the website and felt that they genuinely cared and wanted to help people. They had a black Friday sale going on so I bought the Healthy Teeth & Gums starter kit. The products came in early December and I watched how to use them and hoped they would work.

I have been using shine and the pocket applicator for several months now. My teeth are definitely whiter.

I have severe periodontal disease. The salt in the oral applicator seemed to be irritating my gums, so I started using a poultice tincture which I formulated from information from Dr. Patrick Jones at the Homegrown Herbalist. I tincture plantain, comfrey, calendula, and yarrow, from my garden. The tincture feels good on my gums, and the report from my periodontist is very encouraging. The pockets in my gums are decreasing. Thank-you so much for all the information and products.

Back in October of 2020 I went to the dentist as usual. I had thought my teeth were doing fine now. I had had terrible teeth as a kid. I lived on sugar, soda, and ramen noodles and all manner of junk. I always DREADED the dentist because it always meant bad news and more cavities. My bottom two molars were already decaying when they came in when I was in second grade and I’ve had trouble with these two teeth for a long time and had them crowned in 2018

I got married in 2010 and started working at a health food store and ate only whole foods and quit my sugar addiction and low and behold no more cavities!
After having my first child I began having health issues and started looking deeper into diet and nutrition. I followed Weston Price, did Whole 30 Paleo, did AIP, followed Plant Paradox…. all of which helped little by little for me to heal.

I was feeling my best in 2018. No more arthritis or stomach aches or nerve pain, etc.. However, in early January of 2018, even though I had been eating a diet low in grains, high in veggies and fiber, etc. and thought I was the healthiest I’d ever been, low and behold I had SEVERAL cavities!?!? I was devastated. I felt exhausted because I was already doing all the things I knew to do as far as eating healthy, using bentonite clay to brush, etc. So I cried then let it go and had the last of them filled in January of 2019.
Now comes October 2020 and I go the dentist and they ask me how old I am (33) and how often I floss (EVERY DAY!) and how often I brush (EVERY DAY morning and night!) and then ask me if anyone has talked to me about periodontal disease (no).

Well, I was told I have early stage periodontal disease but not to worry about it because it wasn’t bad. They told me I needed flouride, which I refused because thyroid issued run in my family. They told me to use a special rinse to help with sensitivity (I had no sensitivity and told them I stay away from chemicals at all costs). They told me to use a special toothpaste for sensitive teeth which I also refused because of creepy ingredients and because I was having no sensitivity except when they used the tools on my front lower teeth.

They told me if it gets worse they can inject antibiotics into the gum pockets to fix it. NO WAY. I told them how I stay away from antibiotics unless 100% necessary because of how they affect the gut. “This only stays in your mouth” said the dentist. I know better than that.

I remembered YEARS ago using a Bass toothbrush and the tooth oil and enjoying it, though at the time I was not in a place financially to buy it a second time when I ran out and then had forgotten about it. I came home from the dentist that day and cried because they said there was no hope. But then I stopped crying and immediately came to orawellness website and ordered their kit for periodontal disease.

I did not change my diet hardly at all. I started brushing with first the oil blend and then the shine every single day for three months. Well, the shine ran out at Christmas and I started brushing with bentonite until I could order more. I used the applicator occasionally. I was not consistent with it, but did feel my mouth felt EXTRA clean in the morning when I did use it.

I had a dentist appointment late January 2021 and the lady said my reading were WAY better and to stop using the product I found because I was in the safe zone now. I was SHOCKED she would say to STOP using what worked. Crazy. I will NOT stop using these products. They are the ONLY thing I changed. I am so impressed. This stuff works! I recommend it to everyone! I even have my 8 year old and my 2 year old using it (well, the little one only the shine right now because the oil is too “hot” for her).

Thank you all for the work you do! I feel silly I did not come here once I found out I had cavities back in 2018 because I KNEW about you all! Instead of getting down on myself about it though, I just feel grateful to come and get resources here when i did! My mouth feels great! Thank you for standing up and being the “weirdos” in this world full of dental myths and broken healthcare systems that cover up symptoms at best!
