Since I have a small mouth I bought the adult AND junior sized toothbrushes to see which would be best for me. As shown on the site, the brushes vary slightly. Adult bristles are a bit longer along the handle. The junior is shorter in length and the handle is shorter as well.

Of more importance is the fact that I have rheumatoid arthritis, especially in my hands/wrists. Consequently, brushing teeth can be challenging because of difficulty properly gripping the handle.

Prior to purchasing this brush, I used the ‘Crayola’ toothbrush made for children because of the round handle which provides more leverage and better grip essential for proper brushing. Most ‘manual’ toothbrush handles are somewhat flat but because of the material (they’re made of a nonslip substance), it’s still possible to get a decent grip even if it remains somewhat difficult.

The material that the Bass toothbrush is made of becomes slippery while brushing and makes grabbing it more challenging. Yet despite the difficulty I’ve encountered, I do NOT for a moment regret buying these.

That said — for the average person, the “flat” handle design on this would most likely not be problematic. But for those who have some form of hand disability, particularly rheumatoid arthritis and/or including other forms of arthritis, gripping this handle might be challenging.

If the handle could be more rounded (and even made of nonslip material), I would be tickled pink! Meanwhile, I may have to experiment to see how I can get a better grip on this toothbrush. I may even try wrapping rubber bands around the handle to fatten it and get a better grasp.

I hope that OraWellness will consider this if they ever consider changing the handle design.

I had ordered the Bass toothbrush and a bottle of HealThy Mouth Blend out of curiosity to try something new (but without toxic chemicals), and hoping they would help with certain problem areas of my gums.

I’m especially grateful to have discovered this website when I did, because I also have a wisdom tooth coming in.

I’ve only used the Bass brush (with bass brushing method) and HealThy Mouth Blend for two days so far, but I am already experiencing a few of the benefits I previously read about from others’ testimonials!

A problem area in my gums that frequently throbs and occasionally bleeds quit throbbing and felt normal again the first night after using the Blend on my floss.

I also really like how clean my mouth feels after I brush with the Bass toothbrush and method – I won’t be going back to brushing ‘normally’ with a regular toothbrush anytime soon.

Dear Ora Wellness, I recently started using your dental health care products. I too took a look at the brushes and thought, hummmm, well that’s unusual, I guess I will be brushing every other tooth.

I was experiencing tooth pain and receding gums and knew that it was leading to tooth loss.

Fast forward to a few weeks into the new brushing program and my gums start looking pink and happy again. I feel like I am finally able to get my teeth clean. After a while I begin to notice tooth sensitivity is much less a problem.

I have done damage to my gums with standard size toothbrushes as my mouth is small.

Your smaller brushes are just what I have always needed, but had not been able to find. I feel like I have much better control of the brushing and now know how to best benefit from the process.

I do have a personal positive review after my own dental checkup today.

A few months ago, after nearly 20 years using a sonicare I decided to ditch it and use one of your bass toothbrushes instead. I’ve been adding 3 drops of healthy mouth blend to my Earthpaste while brushing.

Aside from minimal buildup that I typically get behind my bottom front teeth I had a great checkup! Normally she mentions my receding gum line in several locations but today she didn’t say anything about it at all!

I’m excited and will continue with my routine, and I’m even considering trying the shine powder for myself.

In the first week of May 2018, I went to see a dentist because one morning I woke up and my upper gum was swollen and red with inflammation.

After taking a few x-rays of my mouth the dentist recommended that the only way to resolve the issue was to do an in-depth gum cleaning that would require local anesthesia and the cost would be $2500. I told the dentist that I would think about it and let them know within 4-5 weeks what my decision would be.

In the meantime, I found out about OraWellness and ordered Shine and the healthy Mouth Blend oil with the Charles Bass toothbrushes. Within a few days I noticed a huge improvement in my mouth, and by the fourth day the swelling had disappeared and the redness in the gums was gone as well; presently after 2 weeks of usage my upper gums and lower gums are nice and pink with no pain whatsoever.

I think that the Shine powder combined with the Healthy Mouth Blend oil applied with the Charles Bass toothbrush will be something I will do for always in order to keep my teeth healthy.

Of course proper nutrition with the right omega-3 oils (fermented cod liver oil and butter oil with cinnamon) is also a must because of the importance of vitamins A, D, E, and K2.
