I had gum recession starting in my teens. One dentist told me in my early 30s to start saving for implants now. My gums were red, inflamed, and had deep pockets.

I started using the healthy mouth blend about 7 years ago. Within a year I noticed improvement in my gums and that has continued with time.

Today my recession is considered “stabalized” and I have been advised by my dentist to keep doing what I’m doing! No more pockets and pink healthy gums!

In 2018 I fell and cracked the root of a tooth that had a root canal. My dentist said I needed to pull the tooth and have a titanium insert.

I decided to look into a natural method of healing first and my niece told me about your products. I’ve used the HealThy Mouth Blend and Shine powder ever since. I’m careful to brush into the base of the gum. I also did oil pulling with coconut oil. And I swished and swallowed liquid echinacea drops (glycerin based) after brushing.

I went to a more holistic dentist for a second opinion and he could see that the abscess was healing. He recommended that I keep doing what I was doing. The abscess healed and I quit oil pulling.

I’ve had a few bouts with this over the years, since the root is cracked, but this process has worked for me. Recently I got a bit of food lodged under my gum in a different spot and an abscess popped up.

Same procedure and my abscess is gone!

I am currently 62 and have been having teeth and gum issues since my mid-thirties when I got dry mouth & eyes!

Before that time at a dental visit the dentist would always tell me what lovely teeth I had. Then suddenly the dentist asked me if I was drinking soda, or eating lemons because I had 13 cavities along the gum line. This happened for a few visits 9 cavities, then 7 – then I found Xylitol mints and that helped. But bad dental work over the years, too many crowns, leading to root canals, leading to dental implants and with my dry mouth never getting better lead to gum problems. I started using the [Shine] powder to whiten my front teeth because the rest of my 75 year old mouth is not natural tooth.

I wasn’t sure it was working until I noticed that I had not been getting to tooth #21… I noticed it because it was distinctly darker than its neighbors. Poor little, neglected #21! So now I am catching him up to his neighbors.

Additionally, those two big beaver teeth in the front are no longer translucent. My dentist [who] had been telling me that I need two false teeth there (!!?$$?) now tells me that they are holding their own. Yay!

I’ve been using Shine for many years. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months, but this past year due to weather, I had to extend that time to almost a year from my last cleaning. Needless to say, I was a bit concerned about any extra cleaning I might have needed.

My problem started when I had nerve pain at some teeth when I used my electronic toothbrush. I thought that it may be from allergies, because it would go away, or receding gums. Over time, it eventually got worse and I tried a less vibrant electric toothbrush without success. Somehow, I found the Ora Wellness website.

It has taken me awhile to respond with a testimonial because I am a bit of a skeptic when it comes to trying “new” things. If my 73 year old memory is correct, a dental hygienist taught us the Bass method in school in the 1950’s. Of course, I didn’t follow it for very long and was always in a hurry to brush my teeth. It all became familiar when I started brushing the “new” way.

I had received my sample kit about a month before my appointment and it was too soon to review. Today, I had my 6-month check-up and both the hygienist and dentist were impressed with how the gums looked! I thought that they looked different but, anxiously waited until today for confirmation and was told to continue doing what I was doing when brushing my teeth.

I use Sunstars’ GUM Proxabrush with one to two drops of the HealThy Mouth Blend after flossing my teeth and before brushing. Sometimes flossing misses stuck food between the teeth.

Here’s another helpful tip: I use a plastic dry wall anchor as a spindle for the bobbin of floss. When I first tried the floss, I found that when I had about 1/3 of the bobbing left, I had trouble getting the floss to roll off the bobbin. So, I took the anchor and punched it thru the box, plastic bag and bobbin and it works great!

I’ve been taught that there are different reasons for receding gums and just proper brushing may not solve it. However, the current results make me very happy!

I have been using shine and the pocket applicator for several months now. My teeth are definitely whiter.

I have severe periodontal disease. The salt in the oral applicator seemed to be irritating my gums, so I started using a poultice tincture which I formulated from information from Dr. Patrick Jones at the Homegrown Herbalist. I tincture plantain, comfrey, calendula, and yarrow, from my garden. The tincture feels good on my gums, and the report from my periodontist is very encouraging.
