If we told you there was a way to dramatically reduce the amount of plaque your mouth produced, would you do it?
What if we added that by taking this same simple action, you could reduce your risk of arthritis, cardiovascular disease and diabetes too? How about decreasing spider and varicose veins???
Well, here you go!!
If you want to create massive positive change in your oral (and whole body) health in the next 6 months, watch this interview!
Dr Kate, a foremost international authority on vitamin K2, makes a very compelling case for the importance of this often overlooked essential vitamin. Author, of Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox, Dr Kate Rheaume-Bleue speaks around the world on the importance of this silent vitamin. If you really want to ramp up your ability to stop tooth decay, download our FREE resource guide, “How to Remineralize Your Teeth” here.
In a nut shell, vitamin K2 gives calcium ‘the intelligence’ to know where to go. Without sufficient vitamin K2 in our systems, calcium won’t be used to support our bones or fill cavities, but may end up where it’s not supposed to be, like on the ends of our bones which causes arthritis, or in our arteries which causes cardiovascular disease!

Hi Guys
I have just watched the interview with Dr Kate and wanted to share my experience. My teeth have been breaking/chipping for a few years. Last year I bought and read her book. As a result I began taking Vitamin K2 with D3. After 6 months my teeth had finally stopped breaking. I also began oil pulling with coconut oil. Then I found your site and bought the HealthyMouth Blend. No more toothache. The dental plaque disappeared as well.
This year I took a break from the K2 because I had so many other health issues to address. Now the dental plaque is returning. After watching your video, I have just begun to take it again.
I am 67 and well educated but this is new territory for me. I am very grateful that Dr Kate is willing to share her expertise freely, and that you have made it available to so many people including myself. Thank you both.
Thank you so much for sharing this important information!
Thanks to Dr. Kate for such informative and helpful interview for keeping oral health positive. You have shared much information and benefits about vitamin K1, K2 and the resources from where we can get it and the consequences of avoiding it. You also talked about the combination of vitamin D and K2 work together and how their resultants help us. Including all it is a great share @WillandSusan.
I just thought I would comment that I am not a fan of videos. I know people like them and they are popular, but not everyone does. Providing a transcript would be nice for people who do not want to – or can not – listen to videos
Aloha Julia,
Thank you for voicing your preference here!
Ironically, I just got the transcript from our transcription person this afternoon! 🙂
I’ll plan to put the transcript on the copy of this interview that will be in our free member library.
Thanks again for reminding us of this factor!!
You mentioned that you like and use the ProNordic K2. I noticed in the ingredient list that it contains caramel coloring and a reviewer stated the the MCT oil used is a clear version of palm oil that is not healthy. Should I be concerned about this? Thank you.
I am wondering the same thing.
This new vitamin K2 issue is congruent with and confirmatory to the shocking (and as I pondered and studied it, excellent) advice that Will and Susan give: eat fats and saturated oils (olive, coconut) and eliminate the cheap, currently popular, and easily rancidified polyunsaturated vegetable oils in our diets.
Thanks for sharing this information, friends. Your interview with Dr. Rheume-Bleue was a healthy delight.
Question: Do you know if a nattokinase is effective when the label says that the K2 has been removed from the Natto. [my bottle says that]. It seems to me that the purpose for taking natto is to get the vitamin K2. Hmmm.
People should read labels.
Thank you so much for this valuable information! I was beginning to get discouraged about my teeth lately since even after doing so much good I seem to be having new problems still. This may be what I am lacking and has given me hope. I have never tried natto before, but I may have a source of good raw gouda cheese here in Wisconsin along with a supplement. I really appreciate all the good information you give us.
When Will and Susan suggest that something is important, I listen. This video introduction to vitamin K2 is a case in point.
My sweet wife googled K2 gouda cheddar levels and found several comparisons. The first that came up was Mercola on cheese. While Gouda, brie and edam are the highest, good old cheddar is the next one listed. Edam is highest in K2-MK7.
Great interview, thank you! I’ve been making and consuming a cabbage-based lacto-fermented drink for many months, and the k2 boost is probably part of the reason I feel so much better. There really is a difference in how my mouth and teeth feel!
Hi Coleen Lowe,
Would you please share the recipe for your cabbage based lacto-fermented drink? Thank you.
As always the info you provide is so important to me. Thankyou! Just wondering if you use/recommend the vitamin D/K2 supplement listed under resources. I highly value your opinion on all products I use.
Aloha Karen,
Thanks for stopping by to comment. We really like the K2 from ProNordic and yes, we use it regularly.
We are honored that you appreciate our perspective on such matters. 🙂
Thank you Will and Susan for this powerful interview. The information was awesome, the questions you raised were great Will, and the technical aspect of it was perfect. I could hear you both clearly and easily, which can sometimes be an issue in these kinds of interviews.
With gratitude and aloha,
Maria
Aloha Maria,
Thank you for taking a moment to share your ‘love note’ with us. I’m so glad that the logistics of the interview were smooth for you.
“Liked”
1) Is there any direct interaction/conflict between K2 and phytic acid?
2) What about phosphorus?
Both big influencers on teeth.
Aloha Perry,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
While I’m certainly not an expert on these subjects, it seems that they are probably related but not directly. One issue with phytic acid as I understand it is that it binds minerals from being absorbed into our systems, thus leaving us with less minerals than we could have received from whatever foods we consumed. As mineral depletion is a HUGE factor for long term health, anything that causes a loss isn’t heading in the right direction.
Vitamin K2 on the other hand is more involved with mobilizing and making available minerals for use in the body. My understanding of the two primary functions (that have been identified) for K2 are to ‘activate’ the process to deposit calcium into bone tissue that needs repair (thus the impact on oral health and tooth decay) AND activate the enzyme responsible for scavenging calcium out of soft tissues where is doesn’t belong.
I don’t know the relationship with phos and K2 although my educated guess is everything is related in some way, even if we haven’t figured it out yet. 🙂
Thanks for asking!
I am no expert on nutrition, but as a chiropractor my focus has always been wholeness and balance.
As Will points out, everything is related to everything. However, a car may be a useful analogy here: we need both transmission fluid and brake fluid to keep the thing going, but they do not directly interact.
Excellent interview and information. Thank you!
Well done on both sides of the interview, and extremely helpful info overall. Thank you.
Eye-opening information about vitamin K2. You are helping so many people by interviewing experts like Dr. Kate who has obviously done her research. The entire interview made so much sense from cardio-vascular to bone and oral health. Fantastic. Going to increase my K2 and nattokinase to see if that is the reason I’ve been having oral plaque for 7 months. Thanks again for an outstanding interview.
I’m getting results after 3 days of increasing the amount of MK7/Vit K2 supplementation for the plaque on my teeth. Thank you so much for spreading the word in the video.
I am curious what recommendations you have for people who are on blood thinners and have had a history of blood clots. Would you still recommend the same amounts of K2?
I am also curious about folks with sarcoiditis. I understand Vit D supplementation can make it worse. What about D with K2, would that make a difference? or even K2 without the D3?
Thanks,
Dr. Heather
Aloha Dr Heather,
Thanks for stopping by to ask! Your questions are out of my league to feel comfortable answering, so I’m going to post them here with the hope that someone else can chime in and offer support.
Thanks again. It’s an honor to have you post comments here.
Hope this helps. Dr. Kate into the talk at approx 3 mins 45seconds talks about the difference between K1 and K2 and says that K1 is for blood clotting, and that K2 is not involved in blood clotting.
Thank you so much for sending this video, it is so informative, and obviously very important to ones health to know about Vitamin K2.
And thank you very much that you care so much about people to share this information.
Aloha Denyse,
Thank you SO much for stopping by to share your love note with us!
The fact that you can feel the care that we have for people tells us that our desire to help is being heard!!
Love and Aloha!
