What is MCHA’s shelf life / expiration date? And, how should I store MCHA?

Our production team gave unopened Bulk Bags of MCHA about a 3-year expiration date based on their product knowledge (the date is printed on the back of a bulk/refill bag).

Once you’ve opened a bag of MCHA, we generally suggest using it up within about 6 months of opening it. The reason for this is because once a bag has been open for longer than that, it may begin clumping as the powder pulls moisture from the atmosphere over time.

Here’s a tip: If you live in a humid place, feel free to try putting your entire Bulk Bag of MCHA into a resealable baggie or other airtight container and store it in the fridge or freezer.

The trick to having any package of MCHA last is to keep moisture out of it so that the powder stays nice and dry and clump-free. And always keep the package of MCHA closed between uses. And it goes without saying, never dip a moistened toothbrush into any package of MCHA, that way, it stays dry.
