How much MCHA is in Shine (what’s the ratio / percentage / % of MCHA in Shine)?

Excellent question!

When we’re using any compound to support remineralization, quantity matters. Unfortunately, hydroxyapatite is expensive, so in many products, it tends to be way down on the ingredients list.

We are required to list the ingredients on our labels in descending order (i.e., from highest to lowest amounts) according to their quantity in the formula. Because we know that quantity matters, on all containers of Shine, you can see that microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHA) is the first ingredient listed (meaning it’s the one with the highest quantity in the formula).

The exact concentration / percentage of MCHA in our Shine Tooth Powder is proprietary information. To protect this trade secret, even our OraWellness Customer Caregivers don’t have access to that exact number.

However, we can share that the concentration of hydroxyapatite in Shine is greater than 20%.
