Are there heavy metals in OraWellness Smile from the zeolite (or anything else)? Did you do the careful testing required to make sure it’s safe?

Yes, OraWellness Smile does contain trace amounts of heavy metals because several of the ingredients are sourced from the earth. Even though we’ve sourced a very pure, high quality form of clinoptilolite (purified zeolite), it still does contain trace amounts of heavy metals.

However, zeolites have a unique chemical structure that allows them to scavenge and then strongly bind heavy metals. So, even though these compounds contain small amounts of heavy metals, they actually help remove (not introduce) toxins from the body.

Our GMP-certified production lab does a battery of tests at two phases of production. First, each component ingredient is tested as it’s received to confirm that it is pure and only contains what the label says (it might shock you to learn how often they have to reject incoming components). Second, they also test the final product to ensure that the production process did not introduce any contamination into the final product.
