We’re looking for some excellent photos to take our BrushEco mission to a broader audience and we need your help!  Not sure what our mission is with BrushEco?  Read more about the BrushEco mission here.

 

Photo Contest Details:

To really make a big impact, we need your help as we gear up to spread the word about BrushEco.

We’re designing new marketing materials for BrushEco, and we need some awesome photos to accompany them.

And we figured, “Who better to help us with awesome photos than our friends who already love BrushEco?”

 

Photo Contest Prizes:

  1. “Thank you” level. To thank you for your willingness to help us out, everyone who submits a photo to us will receive a 15% coupon to use on their next order of regularly-priced OraWellness products (one coupon code per person, not per image)
  2. “Great job” level. If we use your photo on our landing page, you’ll receive a free year’s supply of BrushEco (8 brushes total: four of the 3-row design and four of the 4-row design). ($20 value)
  3. “That is IT!!!” grand prize level. If we choose your image as our ‘hero’ image, you’ll receive a year’s supply of some OraWellness products: a 3-pack of HealThy Mouth Blend, a 3-pack of Shine, AND 8 BrushEco (four of the 3-row design and four of the 4-row design), all for free! ($120 value)

 

Types of Images We’re Looking For:

  • Lifestyle images of people (you, your cute child/children, your entire family, etc.) with BrushEco as the emphasis
  • BrushEco artfully captured next to a bathroom sink (like the images on this page that were taken by our family members)
  • BrushEco in nature / natural settings (with or without people)
  • Note: We need photos both with and without some of our other products (Shine, HealThy Mouth Blend, etc.). So, feel free to submit images of BrushEco alone and/or BrushEco with other OraWellness products.
  • Bring your creativity! If you have an idea that we didn’t list, show us what you’ve got! 🙂

 

Ways to Enter:

  1. Submit your photo(s) here.
  2. Or, post your photo(s) on Instagram, tag @orawellness, and use the hashtags #OraWellness and #BrushEco
  3. Or, post your images on Facebook, tag @orawellness, and use the hashtags #OraWellness and #BrushEco.

(PS: If you’d like to submit several awesome photos, you can send as many as you’d like. Please keep in mind that we’ll only send you one coupon regardless of how many photos you submit, but by sending multiple photos, you will increase your chance at winning the “Great job” and “That is IT!!!” level prizes.)

 

Submission Deadline:

Entries must be submitted by no later than 11:59pm PDT on Saturday, August 22, 2020. We’ll send all image submissions to our design team so they can choose which ones to use for the pro landing page that we’re developing.

 

Prize Deadlines:

  • We’ll send you your “thanks for your submission” coupon code shortly after we receive your submission.
  • The “Great job” and “That is IT!!!” level winners will be chosen by September 30, 2020. We’ll reach out to the lucky winners via email or social media to let them know and to collect their shipping information so we can mail out their prizes.

 

Terms:

By submitting photos via email or social media posts, you are giving OraWellness full and permanent permissions to use those photos for any and all of our marketing or promotional materials, both physical (like product labels, brochures, etc.) and online (website, social media, online articles, images in videos, etc.).

You must be 18 or older to enter.  We welcome international participation, too!

BrushEco Mission:

BrushEco is the first sustainable toothbrush with a Bass design. It helps us support our oral health while also helping to support the health of Mother Earth.

 

How BrushEco helps us support our oral health:

BrushEco’s shorter handle and rounded bristle tips help us to be much more gentle on our teeth and gums over time.

The 3-row version has spaced out bristle tufts that facilitate the Bass Brushing Technique to help prevent or address gum disease along our gum line.

The 4-row version is perfect for using the Shoeshine Brushing Technique to circle back and brush our teeth to help prevent tooth decay.

 

How BrushEco helps Mother Earth:

Lower plastic use AND fund global clean up initiatives.

Every year, tons of plastic toothbrushes wind up polluting our waterways and washing onto shores. The problem is that plastics never really “go away”; they just break down into smaller and smaller pieces (called “microplastics”) that continue to pollute our water supplies, land, and even the food chain.

At OraWellness, we decided to take steps to be part of a solution. So, we created BrushEco, which is made of 99.97% biodegradable and compostable materials.

BrushEco’s handle is made from bamboo and it has steel staples that hold the bristles in place. The only part that does not decompose on its own are the nylon bristles (and our hope is to one day find a more sustainable option to replace these nylon bristles, too 🙂 ).

Even the packaging is more sustainable: BrushEco comes in a compostable PLA bag inside a post-consumer recycled paperboard box.

And, we’re donating 100% of BrushEco profits to organizations that are committed to creating and implementing solutions to our global plastic problem (for example, The Ocean Cleanup Project).

It’s time for companies (both small and large) to champion causes that help move forward sustainable, earth-conscious solutions for future generations.
